Health of a child is important to every parent who is concerned with their proper and healthy development. Tests in the baby bundle help assess the general health of the baby. Negative results can help diagnose allergies, diabetes and anaemia

  • MorphologyTest which helps assess the general health state of the patient based on the number and appearance of different type of cells – i.e. red, white and plates. One of the first symptoms of many diseases are changes in blood morphology – this is why this test can be a big step towards diagnosing anaemia, viral infections, bacterial infections, immunological inefficiencies, coagulation disorders and others.
  • CRPtest that enables recognition and monitoring of heavy and protracted inflammations, especially bacterial inflammations. High result advises taking antibiotics.
  • General urine testThis test is a valuable source of information on the state of kidneys and a possible infection of urinary or genitourinary system.
  • glucoseIs an elementary test in diagnosing diabetes and monitoring its treatment.
  • Ireon (Fe)Incorrect, low level of iron can result from insufficient iron supply or trouble with iron assimilation. Insufficient iron level consequences might include anaemia
  • Electrolytes (Na and K)recognising disorders of water-electrolyte balance occurring along kidney diseases or dehydration.
  • Total bilirubintest reflecting the functions of the liver. It is the basis of hepatitis diagnosis.
  • Total IgE (immunoglobulin E)this test is mainly used in diagnostics of allergies commonly occurring in children, but also under suspicion of a parasitical infection. High IgE levels can suggest a necessity of further diagnostics for allergies.
  • ASO – quantitative assessmenthelps assess if the child has recently experienced a type A streptococcus infections, which cause frequent attacks of angina.
  • Test for parasitesis one of the elementary analysis done in case of diseases of the digestive tract and is performed before the treatment is commenced. It helps detect larvae, eggs or mature worms in the stool as well as protozoan cysts. This test is performed under suspicion of an infection of threadworm, roundworm, some species of tapeworm or lamblia.
